If you are registering a participant under the age of 18, you confirm that you are a parent or legal guardian and accept full responsibility on their behalf.
Participant Waiver, Release of Liability & Indemnity Agreement

1. Health & Fitness Declaration
I confirm that I am physically fit, adequately trained, and medically capable of participating in the Conservation Cycling Competition. I declare that I do not suffer from any medical condition that would make my participation unsafe.
2. Assumption of Risk
I understand that cycling involves inherent risks including:
- Falls and collisions
- Dehydration, fatigue and heat exposure
- Interaction with motor vehicles and road users
- Uneven terrain and environmental hazards
3. Release & Waiver of Liability
I waive, release and discharge the organizers and associated parties from any liability arising from my participation.

- Kiambu County Government
- Event officials, volunteers and service providers
4. Medical Treatment Authorization
I authorize event officials to:
- Arrange transportation to a medical facility
- Provide or arrange emergency medical treatment
I agree to bear any medical or emergency expenses incurred on my behalf.
5. Photography, Media & Data Consent
I grant permission for use of my:
- Name
- Photographs and video recordings
- Race results and participation data
For media, reporting, and promotional purposes in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2019.
6. Minors & Guardianship
Participants under 18 must be registered and accompanied by a parent or guardian. By signing on behalf of a minor, I accept full responsibility for their participation and safety.
7. Code of Conduct
- Follow instructions from marshals, officials, and law enforcement
- Respect participants, spectators, and local communities
- Protect the environment and follow conservation guidelines
