Today marked a historic milestone in the life of Alliance High School as the institution celebrated 100 years of an extraordinary journey in education and service. For a century, Alliance High School has remained a pillar of academic excellence, discipline, hard work, and character formation, shaping generations of leaders who have gone on to serve the nation and beyond.
The centenary celebrations were marked by the launch of a solar energy project, underscoring the school’s growing commitment to sustainability and responsible environmental stewardship. The project reflects Alliance High School’s readiness to embrace innovation while remaining grounded in its long-standing values.
In his remarks, HE President William Ruto stated that he can confidently attest that the alumni of Alliance High School are among the finest minds and leaders our nation has produced. He further announced planned public investments aimed at supporting learning infrastructure at the school, including funding for additional classrooms, sports facilities, and improvements to access roads in the surrounding area.
The President also referenced ongoing infrastructure developments at the neighbouring Alliance Girls High School, including student accommodation and classroom facilities, as part of broader efforts to support education in the area.
As Friends of Ondiri, we continue to be a proud environmental partner of Alliance High School, working alongside the institution to promote conservation, sustainability, and climate awareness. This centenary is a moment to honour the past, celebrate the present, and reaffirm a shared commitment to nurturing future generations grounded in service and excellence.
Congratulations to Alliance High School on 100 years of impact. May, Strong to Serve remain its enduring rallying call.
