World Environment Day 2026 Celebrations in Ol Kalou Nyandarua

Today, I had the privilege of joining other environmental champions, community members, government officials, and stakeholders in Ol Kalou, Nyandarua County, to mark World Environment Day 2026. This year's celebration brought together people from different sectors under a shared commitment to protect our environment and take action against the growing climate crisis. The national celebrations were hosted in Nyandarua County.

The event highlighted the importance of environmental conservation, climate action, ecosystem restoration, and sustainable development. Through tree planting, awareness campaigns, and discussions on environmental stewardship, participants were reminded that protecting nature is a collective responsibility that requires action from all of us.

As we celebrate World Environment Day, we are reminded that the future of our planet depends on the choices we make today. Every tree planted, every wetland protected, and every sustainable action taken contributes to a healthier and more resilient environment for future generations.

The journey towards a greener future continues, and it starts with each one of us.
