Environmental Stewardship and Leadership at Wakanda Technical Institute Graduation

Today, I had the great honour of being invited as a guest speaker at the 1st Graduation Ceremony of Wakanda Technical Institute, an auspicious milestone held at the DCC Compound in Kikuyu Town.

It was a privilege to address the graduands and challenge them to step into the world not only as skilled professionals, but also as responsible citizens who care for and protect their environment. I emphasised that true progress must walk hand in hand with environmental stewardship, and that the future belongs to those who choose sustainability, innovation, and ethical leadership.

I sincerely thanked the management and leadership of Wakanda Technical Institute for their visionary partnership with Friends of Ondiri Wetland Kenya in advancing environmental conservation and climate action. Such collaborations between education and conservation are vital in shaping a resilient and conscious generation.

I was honoured to attend the ceremony in the company of my dedicated team from Friends of Ondiri Wetland Kenya, whose commitment continues to inspire meaningful change. Congratulations to the graduands of Wakanda Technical Institute as they embark on this new chapter-may they go forth to build, to serve, and to safeguard our shared planet.
