Friends of Ondiri Wetland at the Global Leadership Summit.

Yesterday was a great day as we had the opportunity to exhibit at the Global Leadership Summit, Kikuyu Chapter, held at the Church of Torch. We were honoured to host and engage with distinguished leaders, including Prof. PLO Lumumba and Dr. George Wachiuri, among many others.

Our team successfully pitched our conservation work at Ondiri Wetland, highlighting our citizen science initiatives and our restoration efforts, not only at Ondiri Wetland but also across tributaries of the Nairobi River. We also showcased the upcoming Ondiri Wetland Festival, which will begin with a conservation concert, followed by a two-day business expo, and culminate in the 5th Edition of the Ondiri Wetland Conservation Run, expected to attract many participants.
